SHOUT! Music Publishing signs an Administration and Collaboration Agreement in the United Kingdom with Universal Music Publishing Group (UMPG).
The agreement includes both SHOUT! Music Publishing and Hillsong Music Publishing which together host a significant catalogue of various musical genres.
Universal Music Publishing Group (UMPG) is a leading global music publisher with 47 offices in 45 countries. Headquartered in Los Angeles, UMPG represents music across every genre from some of the world’s most important songwriters and catalogues.
UMPG will be providing music publishing administration services for both the SHOUT! Music Publishing and Hillsong Music Publishing catalogues in Europe and digital collection in the United Kingdom. The deal will also allow for a collaboration framework for UMPG and SHOUT! Music Publishing, highlighting crossover opportunities, as well as new joint signings.
These catalogues include such iconic songs as, the Grammy Award winning ‘What a Beautiful Name’ by Ben Fielding, & Brooke Ligertwood, Hillsong UNITED’s song ‘Oceans (Where Feet May Fail)’ by Joel Houston, Matt Crocker and Salomon Ligthelm which spent a record 61 weeks at #1 on Billboard’s Hot Christian Songs chart and is certified double platinum in the United States and Hillsong Young & Free’s Grammy nominated album ‘Youth Revival’. Song writers include; Michael Guy Chislett, Matt Crocker, Chris Davenport, Michael Fatkin, Ben Fielding, Taya Gaukrodger, Benjamin Hastings, Hannah Hobbs, Joel Houston, Aodhan King, Brooke Ligertwood, Scott Ligertwood, Reuben Morgan, Jonas Myrin, Alex Pappas, Marty Sampson, Renee Sieff, Ben Tan, Ryan Taubert Dylan Thomas, Andrew Tierney (Human Nature) Laura Toganivalu, Melody Wagner, and more and SHOUT’s most recent signing, Josh Grimmett (GOODBOYS), co-writer on the MEDUZA hit, ‘Piece Of Your Heart’.
